Honored to Receive the Distinguished Alumni Award 2023 from STI College Cubao

I am thrilled to announce that STI College Cubao selected me as the recipient of the STI Distinguished Alumni Award 2023! The awarding event was held yesterday, April 13, at STI College Pasay-Edsa together with their annual academic competition (Tagisan ng Talino). As an STI graduate, this recognition means a great deal to me and I am deeply honored to have been selected for this prestigious award.

The Distinguished Alumni Award is given to STIers who have made significant contributions to their field and community, and I am grateful to have been recognized in this way. This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication I have put into my career, and I am proud to have been able to achieve success while also giving back to my community.

I would like to express my gratitude to STI College Cubao for this incredible honor. The path I have taken from my time at STI to receiving this award has been truly remarkable, especially considering that I was almost not accepted into their MIT program. My heartfelt thanks as well to STI College Caloocan and STI College Taft where I spent the first five years of my teaching career. Thank you as well to Dr. Brandon G. Sibbaluca and Mr. Emman Ciriaco for recommending me to the STI Alumni Association.

Finally, I would like to offer my congratulations to the other recipients of the Distinguished Alumni Award. It is an honor to be in the company of such accomplished individuals, and I look forward to continuing to make a positive impact in my field and community. Special mention to my dissertation supervisor and friend, Dr. Joel B. Mangaba, who was also a Distinguished Alumni Awardee from STI College Novaliches.
