Manuel B. Garcia
Manuel B. Garcia is a professor of information technology and the founding director of the Educational Innovation and Technology Hub (EdITH) at FEU Institute of Technology in Manila, Philippines. His interdisciplinary research interest includes topics that, individually or collectively, cover the disciplines of education and information technology.
He is a licensed professional teacher and a proud member of the National Research Council of the Philippines – an attached agency to the country’s Department of Science and Technology (DOST-NRCP).
Biography
Garcia was born in Valenzuela City, Philippines on May 14, 1992.
Academic Background
Garcia graduated at the Technological University of the Philippines in 2013 with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Education major in Computer Education. A year later, he took and passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers by the Professional Regulation Commission. In the same year, he pursued his master's degree in information technology at STI College Cubao and finished in 2016. In 2017, he enrolled in the University of the East to obtain his Doctor of Information Technology. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, he completed his DIT degree in 2021. Presently, he is taking up Doctor of Philosophy in Education major in Research and Evaluation at the University of the Philippines Diliman.
